If theres body damage (where the susp mounts) the dealer will just send it out to a collision shop, so find a good one and take it there yourself.

p.s. It wasent ice, God pushed you. LOL, just kidding!

Your lookin at close to a grand if its the rim and the axel if you gotta buy new parts.
Add $300 to that if you got the control arm to.

Thinking more about it, I bet the axel is still good. The control arm will bend before it gets to the axel. Reason I say this. Is because I got hit by a tahoo 4x4 directly in the left front of my car going about 35mph. Dead on with the left front tire. 13 g's in damage btw. And the only thing that survived was the axel. So if you were only going 10 mph Ibet it got your control arm. Its around 300$. you may get lucky and find a used rim from someone on the boards, if not its around $500. So do the math.

Id bet money on the control. Im almost positive. If it gets tweaked, it will change the location of the tire like you described. A bent or broken axel will NOT. You got a digi camere. If so go takes some pics of the control arm and what not and Ill tell you for sure.

This is lord's brother. I was in the car with him. I really don't think we were going more than 5mph. We were 50 feet from a stop light, so the speed wasn't high. The mix of PS2's and ice I guess did this. Once we lost control, we couldnt gain it back.

I'm gonna try to get a picture for you guys...

Example of a bent control arm

Nice example of a bent control arm. Notice the ring around the axle, where it was shoved into the end link of the sway bar.

That's far from pretty.

It doesnt look THAT bad. The well and side skirt are in tact. If my brother drives it anywhere, will that happen?
