Must have a nice job I pay 430 a month, I paid 25k for mien came out to 27.x k after tax. 72 month with a 8% crappy rate. I would have gone through my normal bank but i already have a loan through them so once that is paid off in 2 or 3 months ill drop down to 4 % financing and drop a year plus being in the military i deploy alot and make alot of money when im out so im just going to dump all of my det money into my car and pay it off

my payment a month 623.00 for now. i wont make one payment befor i refinance it prolly end up with 575... I also rolled over 3k into my loan! i ended up financing 35.500.....
I was offered a lease on my '03, but turned it down. I pay $480 at 2.5% interest for 48 months.

What is the point of this thread? Downpayment, loan length, and interest rate are going to vary enough so that the payment doesn't tell you much except what people are able to spend per month.

well i was told no lease, so with that in mind, payments must be high. providing little to no money down! I guess the question now how are most of you getting the car for under 30 with tx and licens? (used)?...

Just wondering if people like my self justify 600 payment for this car....(thats the point of the thred)

SHould have gotten gap ins through your auto ins company instead of letting the dealer rape you on it

Used 2003 EVOs can be had around here for $23k before any haggling so say about 21k if you're not an idiot & haggle a bit.

just so you know, if you try to re-finance the car without making any payments during the first year there is a good chance they won't do it. Speaking from my own circumstances.. I only h ave a regular lancer and didnt make any payments teh first year (due to 0down 0firstyear) after the first year MMCA wouldn't touch a refinance without any prior payments. Other banks wanted to charge more than the MMCA regular bill per month as well... just be carefull so you dont get screwed!

Hmmm my loan is for 22K and I think its some where around $400 maybe a little less. But every month I always pay more just so I can get her paid off sooner.

bought my 03 last feb for 25k used from a guy that had 800 miles on it. still smelled new. his sticker listed 30k for the car and a 10k dealer add-on for a total of 40k. I pay 375 a month. insurance is 52 a months for full coverage.
can't imagine anyone paying or financing anything over sticker. leaves you upside down for most of the life of the loan.
