In March 2005 Turbo mag they say that they are going to build a ESX sti 425hp in a limited run. They said the initial run will be 40 cars in red with white racing stripes to represent the ESX darg sti. Release date is summer 2005 and be ordered through select dealers nationwide. The cars are said to start in the mid $40,000 to low $50,000. If this is true that is good deal, power and a warranty for a good price.

Well the mag says that you will be able to order form select dealers nationwide so they should be offered for the entire country. But we'll have to wait and see. Hopefuly it happens so Mitsu will have to step it up and we can get a monster with warranty at a good price here in the US. Sh*t I'll take an FQ400 for 50 Grand.

50k? FQ400 is 80k+. What's up with that and the new 170k Nismo Skyline.

If Subaru comes out with a 425hp monster for $50,000 then mitsu will probably come out with a car to rival it. So my guess would be that it would have similar power and price to compete.
