dunno... it'll cost a decent bit dealing with glass though... getting the waves and stuff out... i dunno... if you want a Z06, wait till the new one's out... it's gonna cost a bit, but, it should freakin' rip with a power-to-weight ratio that it has and it's revised suspension... if you don't want the new one, just do up the evo... it'll cost you less to make it fast as that vette as opposed to repairing that damage...
yah , but the Vette is an Icon (american) and Ive wanted a Vette since I could Remember now I can but it'll come all fuct up, go figure finally get a shot a car I've wanted forever and it looks like this , does anyone have any ideas about repair costs?
When the new Z06's are out, you'll probably be able to find a decent deal on a hole-free C5 Z06, as I'm sure many people will try to trade up as they become available. Glass work isn't cheap, as it's very heavy on labor and skill.

from what I read cant I just replace the panels all together? from what I know its the 1/4 panel , rear bumper, and the trunk is slightly lifted, doesnt sound too cost extensive maybe 4k or 5k but I could be wrong which is why I ask
you need to get this to get chicks

Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Developed in conjunction with the C6-R race car, the new Corvette Z06 is the fastest and most powerful Chevrolet ever. Actually, it is the fastest and most powerful car in all of General Motors history. What exactly does that mean? Expect 0-60 times under four seconds, quarter mile times under twelve seconds, and a top speed of over 190 mph. This is the kind of stuff that keeps us from sleeping at night. Under the hood of the 2006 Corvette Z06 is a 500-hp 427 cubic inch V-8, or seven liters of displacement. Based on the C6-R engine, it redlines at a shocking 7000 rpm, a speed unheard of in the Chevrolet community. Helping the engine to breathe is a sonorous three-inch dual-exhaust system that is sure to upset the neighbors. With six-figure performance and a five-figure price tag, the Z06 is a sure winner. Watch out, Ford GT and Dodge Viper. Get the full story of the fastest-ever Corvette in the February issue of Automobile Magazine.

From a handling point:
A well modded Evo will handle like it's on rail. To lose control means the driver fell asleep or did it on purpose.
A Z06 does handle good but requires more work and experience and only place it will beat a modded Evo in on the straight but on the twisties Evo Evo Evo.

not really worried or focused on pure performance I am kinda looking at the fact its a vette. how bad do you think the damage is? what realistic price can I get for an 03 with 8600 miles on it private party
I had an 02 Z06, it was great. Any car that does almost 1g skidpad doesn't get owned in the twisties. I did have an accident in a similar location, when it came to getting the car perfect the dealer charged my insurance 12k. If I were you I'd find a used one w/o damage.
