Hey guys just wondering if you guys could post pictures of either the MR tail lights or the evo VII ones on silver cus ive been looking for pics and i cant seem to find ones with the mr lights... Im looking to change the stock ones cuz it looks ugly especially on the silver one... well help would be great! TIA..

How about a cheaper and better altenative? Evodave custom paints tails and headlights and does a kicka$$ job at it as well.

thanks for the help... but before i decide to go to evodave i want to see how the mr lights look on a silver... cus im still deciding whether to go vii or mr lights for the rear

 

what type of paint is used. will it crack?

FYI: you don't have to pull anything outta the trunk to swap them...... like i'd have expected...... 2 simple screws........ oh and don't forget to swap the bulbs..... they work much better that way



edit: also, first one is right side MR, left side stock... can't really see the shiny chrome though, since it's inside a garage with no sun on it.

 

I personally think the MR lights look just as ricey as the chrome ones since they still have the "Altezza" style. I went with VII tails myself. They look awesome. EVODAVE does great work from what I hear but you can notice the difference between painted lights and genuine VIIs. For starters, the plastic is red, not black, so as soon as you pop the trunk you'll see. But even more importantly you really notice the difference where the back plastic shell meets the clear portion of the reverse light. It looks like red stripes. It all comes down to what you like though.......

 

yeah, but i think i'll probably swap out the headlights too to the jdm's. when ya have a purpose like that, in my mind, it's fine, but just to swap to them....... eh, we all know the stock ones suck..... the 7's are a bit too "normal grocery getter" to swap to, imo.
