I'm think im a true Evo fan

Me and my parents been talking about a evo for a while, looked at a lot at dealerships and looked at one with only 2800 miles privately. But after all this, my mom scared that the Evo will basically corrupt me. She offered both the new TL and the G35, but I still denied her and still want the Evo... I think theres something wrong with me.

Does anybody have any reasons I can give her to prove to her that I will not ride in the "fast lane" all the time, or convince her that I will not perform any dumb actions?

to be honest, the other 2 were on my list as well, and they are both much more "sensible" cars. and they both have awesome service departments. .. but if someone else is buying, i'd take whatever i can get.

Sadly, that probably would be true because I'm totally sad after last Sunday where we were suppose to go buy that Evo with 2800 miles, but my mom said to stall him out to see if he will drop it from 24.5k to 24k. But my parents say, patience will get you what you want, and I believe that, but damn, its a evo.

i must be getting old cause i agree w/ your moms. i waited 2 years before i could get leather and a good deal. i was patient enough to buy an evo in cali and have it shipped to hawaii(w/o ever seeing it) so i wouldn't get ripped off by our 1 dealer.

My mom definitely has her reason though, since she has hook ups at service departments and my uncle is a Honda/Acura mechanic she wants the TL. And the G35, I'm really not sure why she wants that.
