For all you skinny guys the solution is simple. Bulk up so that you fit snugly in the wider seats. We all know it is harder to get skinnier than it is to get wider so there you have it.
I just think that they should make "no leg support" as an
option...
Hell, porsches make "lowered seats" as an option... though
for more than $800 bucks..
I personally do not consider USDM EVO comes with recaros
anymore... even if comes with seats that has recaro's badge
on it...

the rib area isnt so bad...it can be a bit tighter...well i am a short small body person so yah...my pick on the US seats would be the side bolsters or the wings for the legs they are really wide and low...that was the big difference between the US and jap spec seats...barely felt any support in that area from the US recaros.

Less beer and pizza and you can lose weight... Some exercise wouldn't hurt too
the US STI seats are almost like the wrx seats save for an integrated head rest and diff fabric
the recaros on the us evo are the same kind used in the civic R in japan
they're pretty good, but not much hip support
the jdm uses recaro sr3s (srd in US) which have much better hip support
in which you will definately notice in the twisties
BTW the srds are very comfy for me on long trips, 6foot 200lbs, average sized

at first you might feel a little discomfort because of all the added thigh support from the SRD, but after a week and alittle spirited driving, especially needed for a car that handles 1g
you'll wonder why they don't put these seats in all sports cars
, trust me my
is average size
and the SRDs feel very comfy

I wonder if the speed is also limited to like 110mph so that the big fat police cruisers can catch you on the highway
while you're using the former rally car with flat seats in strait line speeding
Why would anyone want to buy a car _built_ for twists and curves and then not want the side support for the seats? And use it as a daily driver or a long-trip crusier?? Can someone please explain? Or is it all just about makeup...
And btw these seats are going to add up to the price because as stated - they have been designed especailly for the US market and while the rest of the world gets sport seats we'll get the cool-looking-flattened-show-off made by Recaro USDM seats.

I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! for my first speeding ticket in 15 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Evo's are great seats:

I've got them in my race car. But IMO not what you want in a daily driver. No ability to adjust the tilt of the seat back. ReIncarnate is right on the money - the Sparco Tornios have an adjustable back that makes all the difference in a street car.
IMO, I think people are going to be pretty happy with the stock Recarros. Eventually, I plan on pulling mine (and hopefully selling them to someone with an OZ/etc) and putting in some black/yellow Torinos (or etc) to match the exterior...
