I wonder if Mitsu considers the MSRP of $28.9k without the wing, and adding a wing plus sunroof would jack the price way up...

The starting $28987 price is with the low-profile GT spoiler.. Don't worry, the MSRP for the carbon-fiber spoiler will still be priced under $30K...

It sucks that the big spoiler is an option . . . as it isnt an option on all the other Evos

 

This is true, however, not everybody in the U.S.A likes the big spoiler and some prefer a "just under the radar look!" For those die-hard sleepers mitsu offers the small GT spoiler.

 

Since all of the launch cars are tall wing, no snrf, wouldnt it make sense that they announce the MSRP for the launch model? Which would mean 28,987 for tall wing, no snrf. Just my thoughts, could be wrong!!!

By the way, February Motor Trend states that getting the big wing will cost an extra $2000.

 

I'll buy it without the big wing and just go buy it from dealer later.

 

I think it's rather odd to charge more for a big wing. According to that "info" on http://www.kendallmitsubishi.com it standard and the low profile wing is an option. I'm already paying tons for this car, I don't wanna pay more

So that would lead me to believe that it would be included in the announced MSRP. Anyone with me on that?

Im with you on that. If it was an option dont you think they would show both evos (big wing and little wing)??? And the Eclipse GST 97-99 had a big wing and that wasnt an option. But who knows I hope its not an option.

 

It's an option. There are two options on the Evo: big carbon fiber wing and sunroof. Prices on options will be out towards the end of the month.
