CEL CODES, Please help!!!!!
Codes:
DTC P0171: System too Lean
DTC P0134: Heated Oxygen Sensor No Activity Detected [SEMSOR
Hey,
I've had this problem for about 3 months now. Trying to find out if anyone has any ideas and so far have come up with no luck.
I hooked up a scanner to the computer to see if the 02 sensor was reading and I got no activity on the scanner as to if the 02 sensor was reading anything at all.
Any ideas? PLEASE HELP!!! Only say something if you know what your taking about thanks.
My Mods are:
Drop in pannel intake
warlbro 255lph fuel pump
full exhaust including downpipe
hallman evo MBC
I've had all the parts on for about a year and had no problems until this one day after I got gas my car wanted to stall, and the CEL came one.
I dont know what to do at this point, and the dealer sucks. I'm about to call Mitsubishi USA and see what they have to say.
Oh and no I never used race gas!
So please help thanks!

Sounds like the O2 sensor harness is disconnected or got damaged, or the sensor itself is damaged.. you probably will have to replace it if you check it out and it didn't get disconnected somehow.
FWIW without that front O2 sensor your getting HORRID gas mileage..
Its possible the sensor was damaged due to moisture or extreme heat (especially if you got a system too lean error) or its possible it got crudded up from bad gas..

Yeah, but unless its Visibly damaged, it will be hard to "Check it" if the wiring is connected and looks ok, and doesnt look like the wiring is somehow damaged, your just going to have to replace it.
