Unhappy me and cops.....not the best of friends

Went to the mailbox today and got myself a pretty little letter from the state calling me to court on the 15th of this month for a ticket back in June. I got pulled over for street racing (bull**** call cause i had an exhaust on my car and so did the kid next to me) Went and fought it and got the street racing taken off and instead i was called for "15mph over the speed limit"

I assume MA (the state i got pulled over in) sent it to NH?

Iv'e had my license taken away once for 30 days when i was 16 (im 18 now) and im a little scared that that might happened again. Keep in mind my Evo arrives beginning of March and im starting to run out of room for the parts that have been building up.

.....i'd just like a little input because as you all know, the law can be frustrating sometimes. Truthfully, im not a bad driver.....anymore. But in all honesty im much more respectful and curteous on the road now than i ever was.

I dont want to sound like an ******* here bro, but consider yourself lucky that they took off the street racing ticket an u only got a speed limit ticket.

If you dont want this to happend to you again, the answer is simple...dont street race and go to a track

they took it away out of pure sympathy.....and SEVEN, you're right. Track is the only place for stuff like that.

I dont know about your state but California has agreements with 13 other states to share DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) records. Mass. & NH probably have a similar agreement.

I would say you’re lucky you didn't get reckless driving and arrested to boot. If you were side by side going 15 over the limit. All states are now communicating and all dump into a main data base. They will most likely take your license for 30 days and make you take a driver education class. I would call the DMV and ask them about this class being proactive and signing up for this class now might save you the loss of license.

Are you paying the insurance on your Evo if so start saving now its going to break the bank, money better spent on mods.

Good Luck

Why do some people go through their whole lives and never come into contact with law enforcement, and others are always dealing with the consequences of their behavior on the street? Its easy to stay out of trouble if you want to, drive responsibly.

Hmmmm yeah that's why in the 3 years before I got my Evo I got 1 speeding ticket, and the 1 month after I owned my Evo I got 2. And my Evo is slower than my eclipse was, it just didn't have a wing 2' tall lol.

Hate to disprove your theory, but i fall under the brown in an area of wasps, and before the evo, when i had a car that wouldnt go over 70mph i got 2 tickets, yet 2 years after the evo, im still ticket free...

its all about driving responsibly and knowing when its ok to open it up a bit.

as for sap, the originator of the thread, you managed to lose your license when you were 16, and less than 2 yrs later you're fighting a street racing and speeding ticket??? and now mommy and daddy think it's a good idea to get you an evo?? hope they'll enjoy paying your stratospheric insurance too..

please attempt to drive responsibly, dont need any more kids raising my insurance rates by killing themselves.
