evo 7 or evo 8?
i was just curious about this website evolutionimports.com i was reading on it that the evo 7 legal is only 36k with taxes. now if that is true then what would be better the 7 or 8? i live about 3 hours from there so getting the car isnt a problem only thing id be worried about is the maintanance and such for the evo 7. im gonna get one of them in about 2 months as a gift to myself so help me out PLEASE!!!

If you want to drive the car before you reach retirement age: the 8
If you want to say "I own a VII" then get the 7, but you won't actually OWN it, or have ever seen it, but you can then say you paid for one.

Buy the 8, get a 7 conversion.

^^^ That's the point. EvoImports has yet to get a VII successfuly imported. They don't want to sacrifice 2 of them to the feds for crash testing.... and if they did, the price on each 7 they sold would be over 50K, not 36K. So really, the 8 is the best option. Or wait a year for the 9 and then decide if it's gonna be new 9 or used 8

It would be cool to have an Evo7 but, if I'm spending that kind of money I want to actually be able to see and touch what I'm buying.
If I spent $30 dollars on ebay and what I bought never showed up or was screwed up I'd be pissed but, I'd get over it. Now spending if I'm $36,000 and it doesn't show up or can't get it registered, someone would die.
