I waited 1000 miles before autocrossing and then another 1000 or so before installing most of the mods in my sig. I just crossed 3000 miles.

i told myself i would wait for at least 1 yr, to make sure that everything was okay, and i didnt buy a lemon or anything. i have had my car for about 6 months, and am into the modding, seems like parts are showing up daily.i will probably work slowly on motor stuff though as i want to make it to 20k.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks, and so far I've put in a top line alarm, alpine head deck, a new gear knob and subwoofer are going in this weekend, and i'm getting some datadots installed in a couple of weeks.
I keep telling myself that I won't get power mods for a year until the warrenty runs out though, but I'm already drooling over the HKS RS intake and the HKS Kansai service airbox. I would love to get them both, but will have to see. I imagine that airbox will very expensive from the looks. Any one here got one? Any other options for air boxes? In my old S15 silvia, I ordered intake, exhaust, BOV the day I got it, then they were on a week or so later.

now days I agree with the get used to the car, and when the thrill dies a little mod it, then its like getting a whole new car again!!

I drove it on the racetrack 5 days after I took delivery, got my suspension a couple of weeks later, and did all the engine work when it was about 2 months old.
