Thumbs up

well if it were me, i'd give them $29k including TTL (tax, title, & license fees) which is basically $26,100 + fees. in the car business an 04 is considered "a year old" already. if you're gonna pay $30k+, might as well get a new '05!

go to mitsu's website, do a dealer locate with your zipcode. search a 25 mile radius (minimum). call their bluff by telling them a dealer across town will sell you an 04 w/ssp for $1000 under invoice cuz it has sat there for 116 days. if they won't do it, walk & speak to no one. i guarantee they will stop you as you're backing up to do the deal. lemme know if i can help. i got a few buddies in the car biz & i also know a guy who owns a couple new car dealerships (avondale nissan & avondale toyota).

DONT DEAL WITH JERRYS FOR SALES. They will try to rip you off. When I went in there to buy my 03 GSR in feb 2004, they were trying to charge me $32k for the car before tax tags and title. I walked out!

I called Fox Mitsubishi, simply said, I was dealing with Jerrys Mitsu, and they were trying to screw me. I told them I was willing to pay $27k firm, and I was ready to buy the car that day, and my credit was perfect. They told me to come in and I would get that price. I went in and actually got the car for $26,700.00 before tax, tags, and title.

A couple days later Jerrys Called me and wanted to know if I still wanted the EVO for $32k. I simply told them, "No thanks, I already have one". He then asked where I bought it, I told him. Then I told him the price I paid. He didn't have much to say after that.

So the moral of this rant is, DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM JERRYS. Their service department is good. Thats about it. Shop around and you'll get a good deal.

ALSO, make sure who ever you deal with, knows your shopping around. They will be less inclined to trying screwing you.

PS: I also delt with Matthew and then the sales manager Tim. Both unwilling to not screw me. They will also lie to you and tell you there are no more EVOs at any other dealerships. When in faxt Fox Mitsu had 7 new evo's sitting on the lot that they couldn't get rid of.

just let you know.... those options sr, leather, upgraded sterero... will add about 200+lbs to your evo. Do you really need those options? Id rather take out those options and save some money for mod
