I wake up this morning and go check my dedicated surveillance computer to check to see if my car and its system is in good working order. Oddly, the software wouldn't pick up my camera, so I went out to check the hardware. As I went outside, I saw my camera wire cleanly cut. This meant someone messed with my car. I turn and look at the car to see if the spoiler was off-balanced, which is an indication that tires were slashed. It was straight, so I walk over to the driver's side...good as well. I go to the other side and see glass on the ground. I first thought someone threw a beer bottle at my car, but I look up and see a hole punched through my window.

I look all over the inside of my car, without touching anything. Glass everywhere on my rear seats, dash gutted out, turbo timer completely destroyed. My car has had its tires slashed and half the car keyed 14months ago. It was Evo Vandalism, Revisited. No matter what I do, someone will always one-up me for a radio.

See this is the kind of stuff that turns you into a murderer. So...how should I go about this. Claim this on renter's or auto insurance, since my camera system got screwed up too. Renter's would be cheaper, but I don't know if it works that way.

On a positive note least they where clean about it. They only did the small back window. But ya man I'd get a garage ASAP.

 

We were approved of a house loan earlier this week already. It had to happen right before we moved.

 

Do you hava an alarm? I have a pager alarm and it works great...I get few false alarms from cats jumpin on it but I'd rather have false alarms and know that it is working than no alarm at all.

 

You evo owners should installed lowjack. I don't know if that really helps.

 

Damn that really sux. I'd be so freakin pissed. Time to invest in a wireless camera

you need some booby trap around your car. like a bear trap hidden around your car or something.

So you'll catch the bastard who's doing it. I'm sure it's the same people who's done this last time or their friends or something testing out for the security system in your car.
