S40 won?

S40 won?
was on my way home and pulled up next to a Volvo S40 one of the new ones, and I saw it said T on the back, thought I'd run it and have a little fun expectin to smoke it thinkin it had a few ponies, it kept up, at the next light I saw it said T6 on the back, I was confused cause I didn't know the S40 came in t6, we went at the light and we were even thru first and second gears then I backed off in third cause I had my winter tires on and was worried about my handlin, he kept goin, he won, I didn't know they were quick, maybe I got one of the low boost Evo's , hmmmm anyone have anythin to say bout this, don't wanna hear that I can't drive cause I know I can, jus wonderin what mite have happened maybe he was modded, anyway, thought I'd give him props, ok peace watchin a movie now

yeah my friend has a twin turbo S80 and I am sure I can beat him but this little red S40 was quick, I had seen an RS6 I was lookin for when I saw the S40 and thought I'd use him as practice for the RS6 haha
It's single turbo, and it probably said T5, not T6..and yeah, they're pretty peppy out of the box, but don't worry, a Z4 beat me the other day 
...and hey, remember, Euro cars with a chip tune can usually gain ~40whp...that's like Al or Shiv or what not tuning our cars and pulling 40 whp out of them with all stock parts...ah yes, that would be awesome...anyway, my friend was looking at those for awhile, but she wants a Mini-S now, the S40 is too high class for her 
Oh, and if it said T6, does anyone know why?

How sad, maybe the only thing wrong with your car is you driving it, sorry to be so harsh, but come on dude. Maybe a S60R, but you should be quicker than that, please don't tell me you are modded?

now I'm readin other people's posts sayin the s60r is the fastest volvo and they are still slower than Evo's, I didn't go from a 4k launch I jus started as I usually start and then as I started rollin I floored it, tryin to save my winter tires haha but anyway I dunno I'm surprised by it and I'm thinkin maybe he was upgraded or somethin, I would like to find that car again and ask if he has anythin done to it, I'm sure it was an S40 cause of the way the back looks, they look different from other volvos but that t6 threw me off cause I checked the volvo website and they even said only t5 confused haha anyway yeah time for me to go watch a movie peace, maybe I was too tired and my reaction time wasn't as good as it shoulda been whatever no excuses he won I need money and I need to mod my car more, advans need to go back on, bah bah bah whatever peace
I wonder if it's got some of the Evolve Volvo mods on it...that car is so mean....lemme see if I can find the website, anyway, it was probably just circumstances, don't let it get to you, you still can turn A LOT better

only thing on my car is buschur air filter, not even the pipin yet haha, I dunno somethin is makin me suspiscious about that car, I've beatin carreras and turbo is300's, kept up with a vette, I dunno what it was about that S40, its ok maybe ur rite, maybe only thing wrong was me drivin it I had a few hrs of sleep last nite and was tired coulda been it

i saw their s40 at sema this year, that thing was badass.
total rebuild. even had all new pick up points for the suspension.
that thing looked like it would work pretty well from a light or

A two gear race proves nothing. From a slow roll many a car can stay with a stock evo. Cars that I have walked pretty badly could hang for the first two gears with a rolling start. In my experience the power advantage in an Evo starts to manifest itself in 3rd gear. Helll when I was stock a heavily modded SS Camaro and my lowly 270 hp Evo were dead even in the first 3 gears. However, the race continued and his HP advantage proved fatal in fourth gear.
