i would stay stock.. Theres a reason why the some of the best cars in japan still use stock intake..

but stock is so quiet, anyway, stock if you don't want to void your warranty. pretty soon we'll need to use mitsubishi factory "air" in our motors or we'll void warranty. next, we can only buy gas @ mitsu or we'll void warranty.

lol get this, I know, but I went to mitsu to cash in my free oil change (05's rule) and the guys there knew my car wasnt stock and did lost of warranty work for me for free Fixed a scratch on my dash and a slight alinment problem.

how much of an hp power gain with hks rs and im not worried about my warranty so stock wont do

I'm willing to bet its only 5hp or so.. (could be wrong) but the stock intake is really bad ****.
honestly man, if your not worried get something other than an intake unless you just gotta hear the turbo spool and the stock diverter vavle scream.. I would get an exhaust and other goodies way b4 an intake.. (I know ) just thought I would help save a few bucks for you.

the HKS RS kit is only good with a tune.stay stock as long as you can

the hks rs is the most hp with only 5hp i thought the k&n had like 14.4

i have hks, but not rs( filter and adaptor only), i think maybe 5 at the most, but w/ hks, you can really hear the turbo spool and bov sound off( stock).

i've been thinking about an airbox, cause when it rains, the filter gets a little wet. hoever, on the 05's, the acd fluid resivoir is where the box goes.
