11 months and 22k..
a car is meant to be driven man. get a beater if your scared about racking miles up on the evo.
vtech8r (luis) has 2k on his and he had his longer than me.. why? he has another car,
the evo is just like any other sedan.
only problem with miles is retail value. most dont plan on selling car anytime soon. so it doesnt matter.
good luck on your decision

13k a year on my daily driver. Whom ever thinks it cant be a functional daily driver needs to own one. I love every minute I am in my Evo and whenever I drive my beater I mis it so bad that I usually end up not driving it and get back into my Evo the next day.

I daily drive mine, put about 60kms a day on it going to work. Also like everyone else has said all the extra drivingthat you end up doing. So about 400kms a week?

Mine is my daily driver. I don't know how many miles I put on in a day, but it was brand new in May of 04, and now it has about 17k miles.

Had mine since late November, have put around 4,000 miles on it myself. But when I don't take road trips to Houston (accounting for roughly 1,000 of those miles) I'd say I drive an average of 50 miles a day.

Yeah I would say the only downside of a long commute in the evo would be the gas milage. Dont VTA, MPG will go dow the tubes.

56 miles a day round trip 5 days a week. MPG 20-21. Mods turbo back exhaust, Greddy Types S BOV VTA, HKS RS Intake, HKS EIDS. Could use better tires for the snow I just have some cheap all seasons now. Only problem I have noticed is if I am above 5 or 5.5k I get the normal grind/rub sound going into 5th. I know the dealer would fix it I just don't think it is bad enough plus I have heard it can come back anyways. Plus it isn't that often I am tacked up that far going into 5th anyway. Other than that I love it. It is great has a daily driver.
