What car handles like an EVO?

Everybody asks me what the Evo handles like ('cause I won't let 'em drive mine yet). I can't remember driving anything quite like it. Maybe an MR2 spyder with real power?? Any suggestions?

My friend has a 996 turbo with a Moton and when I drive that car it seems very similiar to my Evo. It does feel a bit a$$ heavy, but very similiar.

Lotus Elise is nearly as best as you can describe it... the Evo's a click below that... you would need a heavily modified MR-S to compare to a stock Evo...

I'd say their comparable to the old MR2's, but what's hard to explain is how quick the steering is.

Lotus Elise is about the one car in this price range (though its still over) that will beat us. Other than that, the RX-8 does well, the Miata, the STI, the S2000...maybe some others that I can't think of right now.

Besides that, Ford GT, Viper, Z06, then a bump to Porsche GT3, Ferrari, etc. But all these cars are very limited production and more than a few bucks more expensive than us.

The record for slalom is actually held by the 2005 Boxter S-- 73.9 MPH in this issue of Road and Track. I would assume it handles at least as well as our Evos. However it probably feels quite different due to its MR engine layout.

Red face

A Mini Cooper S is a true slot car. If it had big power on a track it would be tough to beat.

The Evo FQ-320 beat the Lotus Exige's time one Top Gear, but I'd have to say a major factor there was power. I'd say compare it to Mk. 1 MR2.

S2k handles every bit as good as the evo and is quite similar, it just doesn't understeer. I would know, I had one before my EVO.
