Ecutek evoflash release this weekend
I email ecutek about the release date of the evoflash and they said they wil announce the release date this weekend! cant wait! and finally after being pushed back over and over again!
base flashes are from $650 to custom tunes which are around $950. Thats for the first time, which EcuTek actually charges the shop or Tuner a licensing fee to "unlock the ecu" for every ecu you flash. Once you have an "unlocked EcuTek ECU" its cheaper for the retunes. Which run around 150 bucks.

the price is one thing, but i have an ecutek flash on my WRX and its well worth the money the results were great and if your going to put a lot of money into the engine you may aswell make sure its runs right?! I had several other systems piggy backs etc but they werent as good.
That said i only just got my evo so i know very little about evo tuning!

There have been other flashes out for nearly 2 years - and their $300-$500r esults speak for themselves. There's no sense paying more for a flash, especially if you have to pay for tuning on top of that. I just don't get it.
Heck, get a Utec or Xede for $1000..... AMS EMS is too much for most of us.

Hey guys - the Ecutek Flash is going to be very good news indeed
I am a Ecutek dealer and will be selling this system with Dyno Flash tuning
I have been doing STI and WRX Ecutek tunes for some time now and it is without a doubt a world class product with amazing features and the highest quality
I will continue to offer the existing Dyno Flash in both a base map and custom tuned version
and also I will be selling the Ecutek based product - at first ONLY on a fully custom tuned basis
Yes - the cost will be higher initially on the Ecutek product due to liscense fees per unit - but that is only a ONE TIME fee - future flashes will be at my same reflash rates I charge now the liscense fees are a ONE TIME purchase
Also - the Ecutek will offer additional features - such as fully mapable boost control through the ecu and others
Basically its just a premium product at a premium price
The current level Dyno Flash I offer now works flawlessly and we have had great success with the cars we have been tuning - over 1200 at this point. The end product will be similar with the Ecutek - however the Ecutek is going to have additional features.
I am still waiting for final data on all the features and will post up more details and pricing very shortly.
