Those who know me will have gotten the ribbing I was giving you yahoos in Broeli's thread with the pics (nice pics though!)

Well then I'm reading ReHeat's analysis of a possible LED screen and other "interior" issues in what he states is a Euro Evo 8!!
All of a sudden I'm seeing flying reindeer I mean....tell me this is NOT a Euro 8...Please someone tell me it's all a mistake and this is a pic of a 7. Otherwise tell me that is NOT a real ACD button beside the mirror control and that is NOT the ACD LED panel sitting in its home on the tach!!!
If this is the Euro 8, then I am definitely hallucinating 'cuz I KNOW wouldn't do that to us.

 

Oh ...and I don't know how to get the pic to just show up in my note so if someone could just put it in here already open, that'd be nice. How do we do that, anyway?

 

its it the acd button and to get pics to show hit the button that says "IMG" up by where you enter in the options for the new thread

The button on the european spec is the acd, you can see on the dashboard that there are the acd led for gravel tarmac snow setting.

 

The US button looks like a foglight (or maybe rear window demister?) button from the picture on it. It looks like the squigly line and D ( $D or something) that is on most of the foglight buttons I have seen. Or maybe I am just seeing things that aren't there?

the button on the us is for foglights. it has a little sideways dome with 3 wavy lines coming out of it.. that has always stood for foglights. the mystery button below it is a wheel for headlight leveling.

 

When announced the Evo 8 for Europe a few weeks ago, they said it was getting ACD and the 6-spd. I guess you didn't hear about that.
These are a couple of big reasons why a lot of people have complained about the watered-down specs of the U.S. "Evo." As much as most of us would like to have those features, they were taken out for cost and reliability reasons. The good thing is that may put them in future U.S. Evos to compete with the STi at a higher price point.

I second that, I saw it at the LA auto show.

 

it's the seat ejector button.
