Good point. With the stock clutch there is now way they pulled a 0-60 of 4.4 even with 300 hp 295 tq. Is the US evo 8 suppose to have an uprated clutch over the Evo 7???

Hailz!

From what I have seen and heard, they are very reputable.

I currently have a deposit with them for a JDM EVO VIII Conversion... so I hope to hell Adam ( the owner of EI ) can be trusted.

PS.. That black evo VII ad on ebay seems to be worded fine. I see NO reason to call him a liar..... I think the original poster had some difficulty interpreting what he was reading. I found the ad to be quite straight-forward.

Peace!

WRC4ever one of the people that got his EVO7 from evolutionimports stated that his stock evo7 dynoed at over 300hp.

So it's not too far fetched for them to advertise 300hp.

Yeah I spoke with him briefly (more with Adam) and his did come in at 307hp at the crank. Another came in at 305 and another at 306.

Not that I am nocking the company or their numbers but 30+HP over spec seemed a little far fetched without documentation.

JDM EVO7's power ratings are underrated... from what I
understand...
