do you have the invoice to your vehicle purchase? Does it itemize the vehicle price and the sunroof addition on an addendum? If it was a dealered purchased item, I don't see why that dealership would deny your warranty on an item you purchased from them. I would go back to the dealership where you bought the car, tell the sales guy and the general manager that the service department has voided your warranty due to an item you purchased through them and see what they can do about it. I'm sure they can work something out for you.

 

his first posts says its custom, that he didn't want to wait for them to locate one with a sunroof.

aka, he did it on his own, even though mitsu offered to get one put in.... he still did it on his own.

 

Its just sad that some of these dealerships have no clue.........and its even sadder that Mitsubishi seems to encourage it.
