Limited number of Evo's?

All the dealerships where im located says all the evo's are already reserved. Are there only a certain number of evo's going to be released or are more shipments expected throughout the year. I remember back in the summer that people were talking about only a certain amount were going to be sold here. And during the official release of the Evo, they said they EXPECTED to sell 4500 Evo's. Im assuming they expect to sell 4500 cars, but will have more available. Am I screwed or what?

I thought the LA auto show unveiling announced they expect to sell 6500 not 4500 this year.

Only problem is that 's plant that make evo's have a limited capacity. That's why 4500 for now. I'm sure they'll produce as much as possible espcially if they could sell all of them.

Well obviously since mitsu said 4500, its more of a small number that they know they can sell so they actually meet thier ideal amount. As we see through out t he forums thier are lines around the corner for these. This is as worse as getting ps2 on the first day. cept for i reserved my ps2 not this. This is where I know supply and demand go in. Dealerships are probably going to take down your name ifyou don't get the first few or at least tally in thier heads how many people are calling because dealers want to make money andn so does mitsu, if they know they can sell they are going to make and get more. Why would mitsui hold back to only 4500, its not like they are trying to mamke this a really limited car it doesn't do anything for them if at least all of us are actual buyers who are willing to 30k in thier pocket.
