Compressor surge @ low boost
I just installe a hallman mbc last week and it was running fine until 2 days ago. Now whenever i let off the throttle at a low boost level instead of "blowing off" it makes a fluttering sound... I heard compressor surge can whipe out a turbo after time. I checked all vaccume lines to make sure none popped off and everything looks good. Any thoughts as to what it can be?

This was my first thought, I checked my routing of all the lines and checked the lines to make sure they didn't melt because they are so close to the manifold, all looks to be hooked up right. Maybe the BOV croked? I've never heard of this but I have no idea... Thanks for the suggestion.

maybe it's not giving you enough pressure to open the valve completely, causing fluttering.
It seems normal at low boost on evos, especially with HKS SSQ Bov.
Try adjusting the bolt on top, maybe that could help.
