Look people put it this way....

Evo Stock is 13.01 -13.2

Srt-4 Stock is 14.1-14.3
------------------------------------------------

Evo

TBE = $765 "Helix"
MBC= $140 including Boost Gauge
Fuel pump = $ 90
Cams = $ 600
AL's custom flash $400

Total = $ 1995 UNDER 2K !!!!!!!

The car now does 12.1 - 12.3 1/4.....

Ok now lets see the Srt-4 get into low 12s with street tires.
Also be reliable..... AHAHAHA not in this life.....
My buddy has so many problems with his it's not even funny....

But once again, for us to care what SRT people say it's very imature and stupid of us. Our Evo's have been compared to Ferarri, Lambo, Porsche so lets not go to their level.... SRT-4 will never be compared to those cars, plus the new Cobalt should be able to take care of SRT-4 just give it time..... Plus Dodge is pulling the plug on SRT-4 after this year....

Looks like the MR was in the wrong gear or something in the first 30mph race. The second 30mph race looked more normal. Lightly modded SRT-4's can hang with lightly modded evos on a roll race, the higher the mph the harder it is to beat them. If that race was from a stop, that srt would have been crushed.

IT'S A DODGE who cares.......it's made out of cardboar and lawnmore engine.....
Americas answer to it's sucking and falling economy...I guess....The SRT-4 it's just like the economy....Crapy and slow, and when it speeds up it crashes....ahahahah

im sorry but what i hear is (NO EVO) an evo with an exhaust is loud i dont hear one sorry... and btw i had back when, reflash, 21psi boost control, hks downpipe, 3"catdelete, 3" catback and an intake, and i crushed a stg 2 so i dont buy this at all. i had 2 srt4s (they were like a lil neon duo lol) trying to race me on I77 by Akron but ya. just thought i'd share

any boosted car is going to be quick on a roll. My car is boosted. I bet I can keep up without being absolutely slaughtered. When's the last time you seen a SRT4 race a MR or STi from a dead stop? You won't cause the SRT 4 kids know what will happen. Thats why they are highway 30mph roll queens.

I think what he was trying to say was that the MR is very lightly modded if at all. He may be right. An Evo with a full TBE and no cat would make a lot more noise than a SRT4 in high RPMs... With my Buscher set up people get scared once I spill over 4K RPM and it sounds so civil at idle (still shakes the car though)...

The info you posted is irrelevant as this was a rolling start. You should have posted the trap speeds.

I would not own the srt-4 but its a great performance car for the money.

Whit the mods that I listed I don't care if it's from a stop or roll, I killed anything. SRT-4 is not even a challenger.

my brother just bought an 05 srt4 recently. i'm calling it the new project. its a new car to learn & help my brother with. he got the car because he wanted something cheap & quick. its pretty much his first performance car. i have been researching into these cars a little & i am actually impressed. i knew nothing about them as i have been wrenching/tuning 4g63's for what seems like forever now (multiple dsm, gvr4, now evo..etc). i can understand why everyone dislikes most of the owners but dont look down on the cars for that reason. srt4's have a lot of potential & nobody can argue that owners get what they pay for. from my findings & talking with a friend who went 12.2 in his, do i think that a decently modded srt4 could run with a lightly modded mr straight line? absolutely....did this one? got no clue
