OK, before i call bs on it, has anyone seen the video over on the srt forums of the gray mr running the srt?. very close race, but here is what i find hard to believe. the srt claims he is running a upgraded wga at 15psi and a open exhaust. He claims the evo is running a full 3" tbe and a ecu tune, one other mod that slips my mind at this time. I know a mbc will wake a srt up, but no way at 15 psi, it took me 18psi+ with a stage one to even come close to my buddys sti. he had a intake and mbc at 17psi. Go over the video seaction a looksy and then tell me that the mods are correct. Im not saying NO way. im just saying, I really reallly dont think so. Yes, i know, its not nice to stir the sh*t pot !

I know its hard to believe, but you dont really have to.

 

SRT's are quick, esp. modified. Doesn't mean that I am selling my car for one.

It seemed pretty close, maybe the MR had the edge by just a bit... that SRT is pretty fast though

 

Actually I could not care less what SRT-4 people say. SRT-4 are great cars for 20K BUT THATS IT. My friend with his SRT-4 it's upgraded to stage 2 and some other little upgrades cannot hang to my Evo at all. I mean AT ALL. All I did I did is a MBC and TBE. I have not lost yet to any car that I have Raced. I took a 2003 Cobra, 350Z, 04 M3, WRX, lots of Ricers, Lots of SRT-4s..... Like I said don't worry what they say. SRT-4 are only dreaming to hang on to EVO. So don't buy into their trashh.....

 

I've been taken by a lot of SRT-4s, but I'm stock, and almost all of them here are pretty heavily modded... but there was one that was REALLY modded next to me where there were two left turn lanes and I was on the outside lane... Yeah, he couldn't even keep up, I was about 3-5 cars ahead of him after the intersection... Gotta love a car that can turn, he flew past me after the turn though... after awhile, even 400whp Srt-4 vs 400whp Evo, the Evo will dominate cuz of traction issues, never underestimate the power of AWD

 

ok lets kill a few things right now, that video shows the truth, the srt4 like cet euro said is a good car, i hate the srt4, but i respect that car for what it is. Like they always say fwd is great for roll racing, which is true, as you can see. There is no way you can take anything away from that evo or srt4... Also the lieing who cares if they lie, the reason i hate the srt4 is so far 90% of the people i have met with an srt4 are little ****s who run their mouth have no respect or any common sense. But oh well the video shows the evo mr won, theres no denying that one, so whatever that kid says on the srt4 forum has no significance becuase the video speaks the truth.

There's an article in the latest GRM where a Forge motorsports wastegate letting it achieve the 15psi (I think a flash was involved) gave it an extra 70ft*lbs of TQ. Amazing. It gained only 12HP though, weird. Very tuneable little cars. Love 'em.
