hmm... i might sound like an idiot here... but the steps are a little vague...

Do I hold the LOCK for 4-10, then press UNLOCK while STILL holding down LOCK? or do I let go of LOCK and press UNLOCK?

In step 2, do I press LOCK and UNLOCK at the same time? or do I press either? Do I still hold LOCK from step 1?

I'll find out for myself soon, I've tried many combo's so far... but my neighbors keep wondering wtf that honking and blinking is... har har

If you have you manual it is on page 3-7. You can also turn off the turn signals when you lock/unlock if you want so they don't blink.

1. Hold down lock for at least 4 seconds.
2. Press unlock once while still holding down lock.
3. Release lock.
4. Immediately after, press lock once and then unlock once.
5. No beep

As I recall, it took a little work to get the hang of it when I did it to mine. Also, be aware there are three modes this will cycle between.

Mode 1: Beep whenever you lock it.
Mode 2: Only blink first time you lock it. Beep/Blink on all subsequent hits.
Mode 3: Only blink ever.

Anyway, maybe you'd be better off waiting for daytime so as not to annoy anyone.

when installing a turbo timer if you havent yet there is a white piece of plastice by the ignition then slam the cover really hard and the clip will break off the white plug then it will not beep.....or lock..... I did that and it sucked.
