LancerShop Gauge Pod vs. Lotek Gauge Pod

Ok, I need a gauge pod. I have been searching around, and so far I have narrowed it down to the LancerShop or the Lotek Gauge pod (found this one on Z-1 auto's site). Just a few questions for those who own them:

1) Factory Fitment? Are these covers or do they replace the entire A-Pillar panel? How is the fitting? I have heard the LancerShop one didnt fit well, but perhaps it changed, comments?

2) Matching Color? Will these look like my stock pillars?

Thanks for the input in advance.

I have grey lancershop two gauge a-pillar pod. They do replace the entire a-pillar cover so you are going to have to use a dremel tool to cut out a spot for the factory tweeter cover and then glue or attach the cover from the stock piece to the new pod. The fitment was not that good. It is a little short. If you match it up to the right spot on the headliner, there is a big gap , 1/2 inch, where it meets the dash. I kind of pulled it down so it is a little short both top and bottom and not too bad. They sent me only 1inch screw when they needed to be at least 2 inches to reach the new holes drilled on the a pillar. Color match is OK. All in all it does the job and you can't really tell a color difference unless you are looking for one. It just seems the fit is a little off and it creaks against the window when cold. I'd probably try the Lotek if i had to do it over again. Hope this helps.

I have the 3 pod Lancershop one. i didn't bother with the tweeter. Screw it. Fit was perfect. Finish was nicer than the lotek pods I've seen. Just my 2 cents.

I got the Autometer dual black 52mm a pillar pods form lancershop.com and they go over the stock piece. Fits really nice and has a tweeter cutout. You need 3m double sided tape to hold it in place.

I know this has been requested already, but I was just wondering if anybody has any pics or additional info on the Lotek pods. By "replacement", this means the removal of the stock piece and the addition of the Lotek pod, right? A friend of mine has one and said that it has to bolt over the factory a-pillar piece. Is this true?? If someone could let us know and perhaps show us a few pictures, that would be very much appreciated!

I started a thread here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=143397 about the monster sports pod I just put in my car, and about half way down a guy has posted pics of his lotek pod. Looks ok but I think the monster sports one looks a lot better and dosn't stick out as much. Pity its for RHD though for you american guys.
