Damn. Another Jack-Off Mitsubishi Service Department. It's taking so long because it's under warranty and those fools are going to scrounge for any "real" work as long as possible. You see, they don't get paid as much when it's under warranty. I guess the only thing for you to do is to wait it out and make sure it doesn't happen again.

damn that sux...which dealership??? but yea they get paid to have the car in possesion for "repair"
did u get a loaner?
u can always talk 2 the service manager, or if that doesnt work...write to the owner and make sure u put,
"TO BE OPENED ONLY BY: Owners Name
Service Issue
Address"

otherwise the high level staff wont get it

Punctuation much?

I would contact the district rep and tell them you will lemon the car unless they cut you a check for a month of car payments.

(of course if the car is paid off you don't have that option)

You can ask them and they may do it. I was offered a similar payment but they decided not to do it, so it's not guaranteed. That was in reference to my car misfiring before they issued the p0300 reflash back in the day.
