I have read many posts about poor warranty service so I thought I would post a story about great warranty service. My car has 15,000 miles on it and the 5th gear synchro started acting up. I dropped my car off to have it fixed while out of town and just picked it up this morning. Not only did they fix the synchro problem, but while they had the transmission opened up they noticed my clutch had some hot spots on it, so they installed a new clutch while only charging me for one hour of labor. So, for a total of about $80 after taxes, I had my 5th gear synchro replaced, my clutch replaced, and my tranny fluid changed. So in some cases the warranty actually exceeds expectations. Plus, I had all the mods listed below in my sig.

yup.. warranty depends on the dealer. I, for one glad tohave a great dealer on my area.

 

It's great that there are dealers that still take care of customers, rather than screwing them over. A few of us from Northeastern Ohio have been treated very well by Spitzer Mitsubishi. They don't mind our modifications, and still honor the factory warranty.
