Just in the last week, I have started to notice a lot more EVOs on the road than I have seen before. Tonight I followed and later passed a white EVO with British EVOLUTION VIII badge and parts stickers on both front doors down the 405 south from Westwood to Culver City. Last Sunday I saw a silver EVO parked in a driveway on Sunset Blvd. in near U.C.L.A. I saw a different Silver EVO this morning heading east on Olympic Blvd. in the W.L.A./Century City area.

If you own the EVOs I saw driving, you might have noticed me. I passed you in a Nogaro Blue Audi S4 (B6).

wierd... all the times i dont see any Evo.. and i live in Long Beach

 

In Rochester, NY I see about 1 Evo every 2 months. They are very very rare here.

 

I see them everyday (Just kidding)

Weird Evo's seem to flock to nearby dealerships?(hummm I wonder why) STI owners also try to show off on the near by street corner. I even get quiet a few STI owners that have second thoughts buying Subaru instead of the Evo.

 

I see one every couple of days here in danbury, ct.....a white one just about everyday because we both go to WCSU.


sidenote - i see STIs almost everyday.....i think some STI owners around here have some attitude of thier **** dont stink. One drove past me the other and i gave him the head nod (whats up,respect kind of thing) and he just gave me this look. Maybe it was just him since a while ago some STI gave me a thumbs up.........why cant we all just get along

 

I see 2 on the way to work, 1 near my house, an MR, and one the night before passing me in a white gsr in Chicago/26th street. I see more evo's than STI's personally, but theres a ton of wrx's. Its like the honda accord of subaru here, imo

 

There are only two times I see Evos. When I go in my garage and when we have Evo meets. Otherwise, maybe one every 3 or 4 months.

 

I had a funny thought as i read this post. I imagine that this is how it is when a Ferarri owner pulls up next to a Lamborgini owner. And yeah i am starting to see more evo's lately. but still at least one evo to ten or fifteen sti's.

 

i think you see more in socal.
in norcal, i rarely see one. because even the freeway sucks here, not to mention the beat-up city roads. evo is just too stiff for everyday driving.

 

I see a lot in the DC area. 4 or 5 live within a few miles of me... in fact one guy bought a silver one just like mine like 10 houses away from me!!!

 

i drive by a mitsu dealer on my way to work and have seen the same 6 evos on the front lot for the past 5 months, thats the only time i see them.

in my buddies townhouse area though there are like 5 in the lot and i rarely see any STis, they seem to be more rare other than in florida, new england area, and canada

 

Here in NY, i have seen maybe 5 evos within 6 months period, i don't understand, its a big city and Evo's are rare, weird.
