yeah, originally I offered them 29,700. Are the changes to 05's (LSD, ACD, larger turbo etc) worth waiting for instead?

Not necessarily, depends on whether you are just looking to buy a nice car or want to tear up the road/track. But they are big enough changes that they could be used as a bargaining point for an 04. I might offer 25 for an 04, maybe 27 with the SSL package.

From: Nor Cal 4 now!
I paid (in Cali) 34k Out The Door in late September for an '04 SSL, to me it was a great deal and worth it, i love it and have no regrets, sure there will always be a better deal somewhere else but i feel good about the deal i got. I suggest that you get the car ('04) at a price you feel good about, then break it in with care and then get on the gas baby! The '05 isnt worth the $$ if you can still get an '05, especially with 12-15 miles on it (mine had 9 miles)!
(just for info, it may be hard to get the '04 price for lower than factory invoice then you still have tax and license). GO FOR IT DUDE AND JOIN THE CLUB!

Did they have any Tarmac Black or Rally Red 04's with the SSL. I have been looking for a used 05 or 04. Thanks.
