2nd WRX vs. EVO Shootout set for Apirl 15, 2005 - Norwalk, Ohio

After a great success of the 1st WRX vs. EVO Shootout this past Sept 11, 2004 at Englishtown, NJ - see Turbo Magaizne Jan, 2005 issue, its time again for a bigger and better slug fest between the two best cars in the world.

Last time we gave away over $25,000 in prizes - this time I hope to get more than that.

Its time for the USA's fastest and best STI's and WRX's to come out and lay down the smack on the track. The best will be here to battle it out for the title of TOP DAWG.

Will the subies be able to get into the final 4 cars ? WIll the Evo be too much to handle ? Are you guys going down without a fight ?

Magazine converage will be on hand.

This time we have the entire race track to ourselves so its going to make for a full day of racing and lots of runs for everyone.

Again - Exedy Racing Clutch is the name sponsor - providing a twin disk clutch for the winner of every class and a hyper single for the runner up

Buschur Racing is presenting this race and they will be putting up some great prizes as well

Since I have to back out of the Road America event this year, I will make this.

Kinda off topic but I heard that there are drive-thru liquor stores in OH, is this true?

As for ESX - they have been invited and did not return my call as fo this date

Since Norwalk is a very lineient track I am sure I can have some passengers in my car - in fact - I intend to see if I can go 10 second with 4 guys in the car

Yes, unfortunately this is true....typically these only exist within the boondocks of Ohio though...i.e. Alliance, OH.

I'll be there, don't know if the stock clutch will hold up however, oh well.

Rollin from the South Side w/ 2 or 3 EVO's, a VR-4 Galant, and a TSI Talon. Hope we get there without any 'help' from the authorities.
