i think the hood scoop is better then the evo8's vent cuz you dont have to worry about water getting in it if you ever go to car wash

i'd go with the evo just because mitsu is where it's at. the wrx is tight, but the performance of the sti is nothing serious when compared to that of the evo so i would definitely stick with the cars i love

Personally I think that the evo hood looks so ultimately better than the STi scoop that any kind of car wash problems would be worth it to have it.

It probably is a stock VIII. As far as I know, in the UK the car is marketed as a 'RalliArt Evolution VIII' by Mitsubishi. It has no extra parts added over the JDM Evo; that's just how they chose to market the car there. Here is a link to the Mitsubishi UK website.

Both are magnificent machines, the STi makes my nuts tingle and the EVo looks like a little on the street rice side( i still love it).

Im gonna go with the STi
2.5 litre H4.... woot

YES. I jsut got back from the Detroit auto show and I saw both the STi and the Evo. Both cars look nice, but In my opinion the Evo definitely takes the cake. The front looks a lot better in person and it's very agressive. I don't like the scoop or the gold rims on the STi either. The new front is cool, but I'm not sure about the extra circle on the tails. The tails on the Evo are the only thing on it I don't like, but those I think will be easily replaced.
