i installed a Omori oil pressure gauge and was shocked when the car was warmed up. the oil pressure at idle was below 10psi!??!?!?! what is everyones oil pressure at during idle?? i checked the manual and it states "After engine has warmed up, check that the oil pressure is within the standard value. STANDARD VALUE: at idle-29kPa(4.2psi or more). at 3500 r/min 294-686(43-100psi) that is shocking once i found the info from my manual CD. 4.2psi or more at idle?!?!?!? crazy. this info can be found on the CD manual in group 12, section 5.

What did you want to know? There is no question in that anywhere. You made a comment about info you found in the manual. It's correct, low low oil pressure at idle.

 

10psi at idle is normal. Mine does the same thing and my compression is 180 all around (no worries)

 

at idle my oil pressure is 10 psi also.

 

My oil pressure at idle is 25 psi and it is over 100 at full throttle.

 

10 to 15psi at idle and 80-90psi at WOT on mine.

 

mine is 10 when its very warm idle and 90 on WOT
