Hi i will likely be getting an EVO MR by the end of march and am curios as to what are good starting mods to make on them, Is there anything i can do without voiding warranty? Is there any way to keep the car smog legal, am i fool to one day aspire to 420 hp on california pump gas? Of course thats a lofty figure i guess but i'd liek somewhere in the ballpark or 330-350. Has anyone tried the Vishnu Packages or the Works ones? the only thing i have planned right now is a mild audio system, since i dont' wanna add too much needless weight on...

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

But as a basic, exhaust is usually covered first, turbo back.

For you, I would go with one of the stage packages, I went with Vishnu. They make good stuff, but if you don't live near them it's kind of hard to get tuned. Either you make 420 HP (with alki injection for pump gas) or your smog legal... not both. Have fun modding.

P.S. I wouldn't bother with a sound system, you will want the money you spent on that for power mods later.
