I work for a Mitsu dealership and have driven a couple people in my Evo 8 and then in the MR back to back and all have said that they do notice a significant difference in ride quality. The six speed also seems to offer smoother shifting capabilities which combined with the bilsteins makes for a better ride overall. I didn't feel much of a difference myself, but maybe my posterior isn't as sensitive as theirs. I believe the MR would suit you nicely, plus red MRs look great.

I am a car enthusiast and enjoy various automobiles. The EVO is awesome.
One other scenario is to get a used EVO and keep the BMW for daily driving.
Maybe. I don't like having 2 cars just for me though. I enjoy motorcycling as well, so having 2 cars could end up not working too well and just become a waste.
I don't want a car to sit in the garage, I want to drive it.

Go test drive the MR..you will find that the ride harshness to be on par with your "sport package" 325. Still, I get the feeling that you are enarmored with BMW, so maybe you should also check out an M3. You get an awesome car with the "snob appeal" that the Evo lacks.
