cd player wont work

hey,
i dont kno if anyones had this problem or ever heard of this problem but my stock cd player wont play no more. so i pop in a cd and the lights dim, come back, dim out and it never starts. i can switch songs from track 1 to track 19 or whatever the last track might be but i cant hear it. just see the track number fade in and out. i put in cd-r's and regular store bought cd's and both played fine.. now it wont play either.. wondering if you guys knew what the hell this was all about..

Sounds like it. You can get a better aftermarket for $150 on up anyway (Bestbuy, Fry's, Etc)...........

Mine crapped out on me in a similar way. I am sure it was covered under warrenty, but since I relocated the radio down for my CH Gauge Panel, it was questionable if they would cover mine under warrenty.

I bit the bullet and bought another stocker radio here on EVOm from EVOTEXAS.

Try pulling the fuse for the radio. I did this on my radio and the CD player worked again
