a few days after I replaced my bald Potenza RE070's, it was raining hard and there was literally a pond where the road used to be on a street I take to get home... didnt see it because it was night and I was going around 60mph, but I was glad I spent $1100 on Pilot Sport PS2s. hydroplaned a little and felt the car decelerate heavily, but I managed to stay on the black stuff and avoid going off into a hill. scary because the other tire I was considering was the Toyo RA1.

tires make a huuuuuge difference in braking and turning. sorry to hear about your loss!
