you are a dummie!

the times from 0-60 are just that, you can't subract 1/3 of it from teh final time and see how long it takes to get from 40 to 60. it doesn't work like that. take a physics class bro.
what the heck are you talking about? subtracting 1/3 from final time? where did yo get that from? In my post I illustrated, using C&D's numbers, that if it it takes an evo 12.6 seconds to get to 100 and 4.8 seconds to reach 60 then subtracting those two numbers (12.6 - 4.8), it takes 7.6 seconds for an evo to reach 100 from 60. How about you take some math classes.

what does it trap the 1/4 mile stock? right at 100, right? ive never seen a stock evo run a 12.6
it's C&D's number. actually 0-100 in 12.6 sounds about right. it traps at 104 according to C&D. take a reading class.

from a slow roll my boyfriend's STi will take my evo. highwayish speeds I can nab him. STi has a TINY TINY turbo that just runs out of juice when you get to a certain point.

If you want to talk #, the just wait to see the EVO vs STI shootout in a few months, the will see who wins
I'm talking stock for stock, you guys are a joke. If there was an EVO vs Civic meet you guys would get owned by all the 9s civics out there... you always use the EVO vs STi meet as ammo. Wow your years old engine won a shoot-out against an engine that was out for ONE YEAR!! Good Job, nice win, hahahah

It's funny cuz the only shoot-out you can win is against a 1-year old engine, you wouldn't win against any other car.

no, it doesn't work like that. on those times, you are accelerating THROUGH 60, not starting at 60. i can guarantee you that it will take longer than 7.6 seconds. The car has rolling momentum going through 60mph. Nothing to do with math, i know how to subtract. I was giving an example in my post.

And to you other post, 104 trap in a stock evo is far fetched. More like 101, 102 at best.

haha, yeah, all those 9sec street civics running around. I guess if your STi motor was older you would be waxing 9sec race cars too eh?
