It's all about the driver in that scenario.

How?
I would have thought you hit the accelerator and off you go - not much rocket science to it

0-60 mph 4.8....................... 4.9

0-100 mph 12.6.................. 13.1

0-130 mph 25.0.................. 24.1

evo numbers on the left and sti on the right. infer what you may.

well until they make an automatic STI or Evo (which they shouldn't) it will not be as simple as press down and go. You gotta shift so you don't lose boost.

I disagree it's mostly the car at this point. This is given both drivers know how to shift out of 2nd gear.

Considering that the question is "from a roll", we can infer nothing from 0-XXX numbers

i thought evo owners were a little smarter. ok, let's see

from a rolling 60mph start, it takes an evo 7.8(subtract the bigger number from the smaller number, 12.6-4.8) seconds to reach 100 and 20.2 (25.0-4.8) secs to reach 130mph.

from a rolling 60mph start, it takes an Sti 8.2 seconds to reach 100 and 19.2 secs to reach 130.

doesn't work like that... you're counting an evo that's already in full acceleration! You need to take into account momentum, boost and shifting... But you're right, I am stupid!

again, you're making yourself look dumber by each post. 60mph is 60mph no matter whether you start at 0 (well, you always have to start at 0 if you think about it unless you can jump in your car when its doing 30) or whether you drove around for 20 minutes before reaching 60mph.
