Guess what, it's not your MR. Anyways, an MR is just an Evo, which is just a Lancer. What makes an MR so special? They "only" brought a thousand to the U.S. That is a bull**** marketing ploy. I am surprised you people are so stupid. THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT AN MR. You see that badge? That's what makes it special. It's not the six-speed, it's not the aluminum roof (the damn RS has that!), it's not the vortex generator, or any of the other features. You are getting something that people in Japan have been getting, but at a higher price. Just leave it alone.

Well it's no "real" MR, but it has a 6 Speed, it has an aluminum roof, and it has Blisteins and BBS wheels and the Graphite Gray paint. It doens't have the interior or the lights, but yeah, get your stuff right before you make such harsh comments on what truly is a somewhat special edition of an already incredible car.

 

You say, "the EVO is just a lancer" and have the nerve to call someone else stupid. What a F*&(^*G idiot. The evo and the lancer share the same dash, that's about it. Let's see you do an evo conversion on a lancer, you won't be able to. The evo body and frame have several hundred extra spot welds to stiffin it up. The motor is different, the drivetrain, the brakes, the suspension, the bodywork, etc....... The list goes on forever. The only thing the lancer and the EVO share is a name, and that's only because it's a tradition now.

 

Graphite Grey might only come on the MR, but it is the most common U.S. MR color...

As for the Bilsteins and BBS wheels, yea, I did leave those off. Big whoop.

I'm not trying to hate on the MR, if you want a slightly improved Evo, get it. What I'm trying to say is: it's an Evo, not a Ferrari, not a Lamborghini. It's not something that you should fawn over thinking it's untouchable.

 

His car, his choice, if it makes him happy then that is all that matters. BTW, just did exhaust, intake, walboro pump and ecutek/dynoflash flash on my car (which is MR, hence my screename). I can honestly say that I have a different car/beast now. It is unbelievable the difference those mods made. So good for him and good for me!
