You say, "the EVO is just a lancer" and have the nerve to call someone else stupid. What a F*&(^*G idiot. The evo and the lancer share the same dash, that's about it. Let's see you do an evo conversion on a lancer, you won't be able to. The evo body and frame have several hundred extra spot welds to stiffin it up. The motor is different, the drivetrain, the brakes, the suspension, the bodywork, etc....... The list goes on forever. The only thing the lancer and the EVO share is a name, and that's only because it's a tradition now.
This is belated, but ya. I don't think you get what I'm saying. I know everything is different, but I'm trying to make a point. "A car is a car is a car is a car."

If I was spending that CASH I woulda got Crower rods, Eagle are ok but they are not as strong.
