Exclamation Request to all the tuning companies

Please develop a way to lower the stock seat, soon!

I am 6'5, my head hits the roof with my helmet on, which causes me to tilt my head to the side (not safe).

Racing season starts in April so please hurry!!!!

I'm 6' 4" and while I haven't worn a helmet inside of my car I can give you some advice. Pull the seat up further then you normally would, and recline the seatback a little, it will give you more headroom, though your knees will be a little higher.

From one tall guy to another, if you don't fit in this car, you're alot taller then 6'5". This is the first car I've owned that I don't have to put the seat all the way back.

When you race the seat back should be up straight, Not leaning back.
You may want to reserch a different type of seat.

I'm 6'6" and trust me...it's all in the way you sit in the seat. I pesonally have NOT worn a helmet in the car but...from what I can tell from how far away my head is to the headliner...I don't think I would have a problem...but like I said I've never worn a helmet in the car...yet

I'm 6'3" and I have that same problem with the helmet. I recline the seat back a little to compensate. You do loose a little forward sight, but you get use to it. Moving the seat forward does not work for me as my legs are already touching the dash. I really need more room for my knees for better foot moveability when racing.

How about a way to raise the seat a little for shorter guys as well ? I'm only 5'5' and I can see well enough and sit comfortably...but a little bit higher seat would be excellent.

if you take 4" out of your femurs you should fit in there perfectly. you might knuckle drag every time outside of your car....but hey.......

seriously, take it to an suv conversion place, they can make longer seat rails for the seats. good luck!

Ralliart makes a 1/2" seat drop frame bottom.

That won't make the distance between his a$$ and his head less.

Get a racing seat and you can adjust the installation height any way you want, and it will hold you in better while cornering too.
