I spent months trying to decide EVO or STi. Today, I drove both of my friendd's STI's and EVOS. And finally it has come down to the EVO.
The STI is a quick car, but on every turn above 10 mph it seems to slid out. It does however have the extra gear which makes it pull harder at higher speeds. I don't like the turbo on the STI it just doesn't give you the rush of the EVO. When I drove the EVO it felt like a much better handling cars. You could take turns at much higher speeds. The lane changing is AMAZING!! I love the feeling when the turbo finally spools it just shoots you back in your seat. The EVO is just a better DRIver's car. The center differential on the STI also seems to be very weak. But the STI feels like it can be launched harder than the evo. But the EVO whens overall. Its just a better car.

Maybe you should adjust the driving aids on the options screen to a higher setting.

 

LOL...I get it. You put up an STi against an Evo it'll be a fuggin 105 point race for the Subie.

It was the disapointment that this, the 5000th versus thread between these two cars, was not able to help me in making my mind up on which one I want that led me to do it.
