New 05 EVO OWNER

Hello guys. Just bought my Silver 05 Evo over the phone last week. I'm in the USAF currently stationed in England but am moving to Salt Lake City (Hill AFB) in 9 days. I just sold my 97 GSX that I've been modding for the past 6yrs (just had a baby) for the Evo. I can't wait to get my hands on her and start modding. I already went to the Mitsu dealer over here and bought the "Evolution VIII" badge. I only paid $60 or (31 pounds). Seems they are selling for almost $100 in the U.S. what a rip off. Too bad I can't buy and bring over the FQ 340 or FQ 400 they had in their show room. Talk about sweet looking. They had carbon fiber interior trim and carbon fiber rear bumper trim around the exhaust from the dealer. Europe gets all the good stuff. We get scraps. SUX! Later fella's

Yes I can bring a car back to the U.S. but the FQ 340 cost 32,500 pounds or $60,000. Think I'll pass on that one. I will bring back a few UK spec badges.

I can't decide what tuner to go with. Its either going to be AMS or Vishnu. Any suggestions? I like the Vishnu stage V390 but the AMS is much cheaper.

To bad the exchange rate sucks cause a nice Evo 6 RS TME would be very nice to have in the US. Enjoy your new ride.

Both make quality parts and have good service. You can't go wrong either way.
