This is what AEM says about their cam gear:

Funny thing is they were VERY, VERY reluctant to get it back!!!

beware of what, i don't see anything wrong. maybe i'm missing something

 

ohhh, cause the marking on the gear teeth is a little off?

 

is it because the tooth at the top is all humped up?

 

you cant see that the set mark isnt even in the center of the cam gear?

That's complete bullsh!t. If you would have installed them on your car you would have had trouble to say the least.
