Talking MR BOV installed today

Today March 14 I installed my MR BOV. My car is a light modded EVO 7. Just an air filter and ralliart wires. I can say that this BOV doesn't give me any kind of side effects. I would say that the driveability is the same as stock, perfect idle air on or off, sounds the same, a little more agressive than stock, spools a little faster.

I recommend this mod

I was under the impression that there were no issues with this unit. Someone care to enlighten me? I was planning on adding one of these.

i have had the mr unit for almost 500miles now, and no issue at all, drive like stock, no stalling , nothing, just hold boost a lil bit better, and better spool somewhat , but that might be due to my TBE.

well it can hold 25+psi, and wont void your warranty since it s a mitsu part.

lol i dont it s just what the MR bypass valve is good for, because the jdm MR run 24-25psi. i just wanted something that hol dboost better than the stock one that can handle 23psi but has the tendency to leak.

I had the car stall on me 3 times this morning.. I've also got a TBE. I have some issues with it under light accel.. sometimes the car studdors... I seem to notice it more when it's cold out.

A lot of people are using it with no problems. I'm probably going to go with the APS when I have the $$$$.. Studdering is not cool when you're drifting a life or death turn in the snow

No stalling, light throttle pressure heavy throttle pressure. Zero issues untill now!
Driving like my grandma, driving like a maniac, zero issues! changing gears at 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000 7100 zero issues. Air cond on/off zero issues. idle perfect!
I can feel my car a little bit stronger, but just a little, I would say a 3hp(optimistic).
Together I installed the constant torque clamps that are stronger than the stock ones. Nice combo. Tomorrow I will have to do a small trip, I will post my impressions with a high speed driving condition. Today I only reach 110mph. tomorrow I will test 160mph...
BTW, the stock wasn't leaking and in the near future I will raise the PSI.
