I am sure that this is all over the srt threads by now....
going home down the freeway...cruising along at 70 in a 65....2 lane freeway. notice a silver srt-4 coming up fast. pulls alongside me for a sec and then hammers the throttle for a few and lets the bov sound. it was very apparent that he wanted to race. 2:00 in the afternoon and the freeway is jammed with traffic...dumbs**t. I am all for a good stoplight encounter, but not in the middle of the afternoon with a freeway full of people. he pulls ahead and I just continue in my lane. a few thousand yards, we catch up with traffic in front and he pulls in behind me close. follows until the freeway splits into 3 lanes. he pulls over into the far left lane and passes me, obviously in 3rd or 4th and flooring it to make a statement. I am sure that he is posting how intimidating his car is......an evo wouldn't touch him

 

I take it you posted this to make sure everyone understands you didn't lose a race?

 

Not strange at all. Someone I know who drives an SRT agrees that his fellow drivers are all a bunch of asses.

i hate f@gs that try to race when there is traffic everywhere.

 

I don't care if the guy posts that he kicked my ***...dumb**** giving the impression that he wants to race on a freeway full of cars??
I like the srt-4 and can appreciate all that it is, but with the low price, puts too much power and big egos in the hands of kids that shouldn't have them....

 

ive been challenged by so many srts i dont even look at them anymore, or when i drive by i just give them a dirty glare

 

It'd probably make more sense to post in an SRT-4 forum.

 

too much of a pita to register just to post once. I looked around that forum once and since I have no desire to sell my evo for a srt-4, no reason to spend time there. I kinda' got the impression that it is full of a bunch of people talking **** and not much useful information.

 

Kinda the same thing your doing here telling us about some young kid revving on you in traffic.Who cares whats your point? This happens on a daily basis and it's not like we want to hear about it EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Some kid delivering pizzas in his 1g dsm FWD N/A tried to race me one night. He was stopped at a light and i was turning left sure enough i hear a coffee can and he ran the freaking red light to catch up to me and rode the bumper of the ford expedition in front of him. Ahhh wilmington....

 

Not all of us are teenage jackasses. I am a grown man with respect for all fast cars, including the Evolution.
