Getting Shocked with Cyber Speed

Just installed Sun Automotives, Hyper Voltage System and now everytime i get out of the car I get shoked with static. All the install was according their manual.

Does anyone had similar experience or knows how to fix that??

Thanks.

ahhh... sorry I can't help you fix it. I've heard of quite a few STOCK Evo owners getting shocked by their cars, though...

the only factor that seems to be constant in the "shockings" is colder weather. hahaha LOL sounds like some horrible B horror movie, eh?

are you guys that desprate for 10 hp?

10 hp dont make much difference on a track if you have the skill

i would just remove the device see if you still get shock

thats prolly the best way to figure it out

Hyperground kits offer a better ground for the car's entire electrical current. It isn't intended to stop the static built up when you're driving. That static is good 'ol friction with help from dryer air. Just touch metal (like door frame or a pillar) before you put your foot on the ground when you get out.

P.S. Either your pic's resolution is really crappy or your engine bay is a little roughed up.

Thats the thing I wasnt geting shocked before I installed the system, and after the install just siting in the car for 20 seconds gives fairly strong discharge once i get out.

Anyone installed the same system? Did I do something wrong?

well before I installed the system I har just regular 4 Guage grounding wires and had no static, now after adding active sytem (look at the pic, blue little box by the swithcbox) without even driving the car, it collects static

No it doesn't. Your body collects static from the carpet and seats. Look at other changes. Weather, shoes, clothes, etc. You get all staticed up and get out and ground yourself to the car. Touch the car first and let it absorb your charge then let your foot touch the ground. No shock. It's you who is collecting the static.

grab the door before your feet hit the ground and you shouldn't have any problem
